Where project payments stand today, and what changes before live money.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Launch beta status

Project payments opening soon. U Creator's public launch beta does not collect project payments, and the project checkout is not publicly available yet. Confirming a creator therefore does not charge the brand or pay the creator.

Brands and creators should not treat any system record as proof that money moved. Live collection, refunds, dispute decisions and creator payouts will remain unavailable until the relevant provider, compliance and operational processes are enabled and published. This does not apply to the optional paid Basic and Elite memberships described below, which are a separate, recurring charge from project payments.

Membership cancellation

Paid memberships opening soon. Basic and Elite are optional recurring monthly memberships, billed separately from project payments. Cancelling ends your membership at the end of your current billing cycle: there is no prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing month, but your benefits remain active until the cycle completes. Your account then returns to Free.

A membership included identity review is not undone by cancellation: once identity review has passed, it remains a permanent fact on your account and is not re-charged if you subscribe again later. Only the membership benefits tied to an active paid tier end.

You can cancel your membership from your account settings at any time. Membership charges follow whatever cancellation and refund rules Razorpay Subscriptions itself applies to a failed or disputed card charge; U Creator does not manually adjust a membership charge outside that.

Before a creator is confirmed

A brief can be edited, closed or cancelled before a creator is confirmed. Because public beta project payments are disabled, U Creator has not collected a project payment to refund.

After a creator is confirmed

Confirmation records which creator the brand selected. It is not a payment event. Keep the agreed scope, deliverables, revision allowance, timeline and rights in the project chat. If either party cannot continue, use the project's issue control or contact support before approving the delivery.

Delivery approval records project completion and payout eligibility. It does not execute or guarantee a creator payout.

Disputes over delivered work

If the delivery does not match the agreed scope, discuss the specific issue in the project chat and do not approve the delivery. The project page can record a delivery or payment issue for support review when project payments open.

U Creator does not currently offer an automated adjudication, partial-settlement or platform-final decision process. For help preserving the project record, email billing@ucreator.in with the project reference. We will publish evidence rules, decision authority and response windows before enabling live project payments.

Refund timelines

There is no public-beta project charge to refund. Before live payments open, U Creator will publish the supported cancellation conditions, refund destination, initiation target and provider processing estimate. We will not advertise a refund as complete until the payment provider confirms it.

Creator payouts

Creator payouts are not currently executed by U Creator. Approval can record eligibility only. Automated payouts require a separately approved marketplace-payout product, creator payee checks, reconciliation, tax handling, and an operational dispute-resolution process. U Creator will publish settlement timing before enabling real creator payouts.
